After many years of neglect and destruction, the building itself needs a huge amount of love and restoration work before it's once again ready to operate as a sustainable, truly affordable cultural and community center for all.
Our first step in this journey is a kickoff fundraiser party that will be a moment of celebration and reflection featuring local artists and luminaries who have been connected to CHARAS/El Bohio for decades.
